My son is spending his final days in the Army doing funeral detail. Now a member of the 4TH I D his group provides the (they fire blanks) salutes and tributes given to our heroes that have fallen in Iraq and Afghanistan as well has to veterans of our army. One of his duties is to meet incoming commercial aircraft carrying the body of our fallen soldiers.
Recently that so called church from Kansas was there at the Denver Airport to protest the war and their warped agenda. In respect the coffin is removed before passengers are allowed to leave the aircraft. These nuts were holding up his detail as well as the folks on the plane. Rolling Thunder Vets came to the rescue.
After the proper respects were given my son my son thanked the Vets for timely intervention. He told them it was about to get hairy. “Don’t worry “said the Vet, “We have real bullets in our guns”.
