The Houston area produces 30% of the fuel supplies of the US and 40% of the petrochemicals. Hurricane IKE could cost you a dollar or two in gasoline prices.You might fill up now.
We have evacuated relatives from the Beaumont storm surge area and have them in Houston. We will be sheltering in place as recommended and expect to lose power tonight. I'll post pictures if there anything to see.
