Fairness, Straw Dawg for Immigration

All the talk of revamping the "Political P.C. Radio Act of 2008" or A.K.A. "Fairness Doctrine"  has curious timing. Why now? Is it to get talk radio to start talking about themselves again rather than the Border, Social Security, Jobs, Sovereignty and Citizenship Give-a-way.

If Hill wins, they will go after radio, the middle class, business and independent Americans but thats almost 2 years away.Down south, the division of classes has been peon and patron. What makes the United States great is you can choose your station in life. The Immigration Bill is an excuse in giving government the right to choose who gets to become a Patron. Stop this bill first!

Maybe We're Not Doomed After All

They call this a consensus?

Lawrence Solomon, Financial Post

Published: Saturday, June 02, 2007

"Only an insignificant fraction of scientists deny the global warming crisis. The time for debate is over. The science is settled."

S o said Al Gore ... in 1992. Amazingly, he made his claims despite much evidence of their falsity. A Gallup poll at the time reported that 53% of scientists actively involved in global climate research did not believe global warming had occurred; 30% weren't sure; and only 17% believed global warming had begun. Even a Greenpeace poll showed 47% of climatologists didn't think a runaway greenhouse effect was imminent; only 36% thought it possible and a mere 13% thought it probable.

Today, Al Gore is making the same claims of a scientific consensus, as do the United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and hundreds of government agencies and environmental groups around the world. But the claims of a scientific consensus remain unsubstantiated. They have only become louder and more frequent.

More than six months ago, I began writing this series, The Deniers. When I began, I accepted the prevailing view that scientists overwhelmingly believe that climate change threatens the planet. I doubted only claims that the dissenters were either kooks on the margins of science or sell-outs in the pockets of the oil companies.

National Post's Deniers series:
Scientists who challenge the climate change debate

My series set out to profile the dissenters -- those who deny that the science is settled on climate change -- and to have their views heard. To demonstrate that dissent is credible, I chose high-ranking scientists at the world's premier scientific establishments. I considered stopping after writing six profiles, thinking I had made my point, but continued the series due to feedback from readers. I next planned to stop writing after 10 profiles, then 12, but the feedback increased. Now, after profiling more than 20 deniers, I do not know when I will stop -- the list of distinguished scientists who question the IPCC grows daily, as does the number of emails I receive, many from scientists who express gratitude for my series.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped believing that a scientific consensus exists on climate change. Certainly there is no consensus at the very top echelons of scientists -- the ranks from which I have been drawing my subjects -- and certainly there is no consensus among astrophysicists and other solar scientists, several of whom I have profiled. If anything, the majority view among these subsets of the scientific community may run in the opposite direction. Not only do most of my interviewees either discount or disparage the conventional wisdom as represented by the IPCC, many say their peers generally consider it to have little or no credibility. In one case, a top scientist told me that, to his knowledge, no respected scientist in his field accepts the IPCC position.

What of the one claim that we hear over and over again, that 2,000 or 2,500 of the world's top scientists endorse the IPCC position? I asked the IPCC for their names, to gauge their views. "The 2,500 or so scientists you are referring to are reviewers from countries all over the world," the IPCC Secretariat responded. "The list with their names and contacts will be attached to future IPCC publications, which will hopefully be on-line in the second half of 2007."

An IPCC reviewer does not assess the IPCC's comprehensive findings. He might only review one small part of one study that later becomes one small input to the published IPCC report. Far from endorsing the IPCC reports, some reviewers, offended at what they considered a sham review process, have demanded that the IPCC remove their names from the list of reviewers. One even threatened legal action when the IPCC refused.

A great many scientists, without doubt, are four-square in their support of the IPCC. A great many others are not. A petition organized by the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine between 1999 and 2001 claimed some 17,800 scientists in opposition to the Kyoto Protocol. A more recent indicator comes from the U.S.-based National Registry of Environmental Professionals, an accrediting organization whose 12,000 environmental practitioners have standing with U.S. government agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy. In a November, 2006, survey of its members, it found that only 59% think human activities are largely responsible for the warming that has occurred, and only 39% make their priority the curbing of carbon emissions. And 71% believe the increase in hurricanes is likely natural, not easily attributed to human activities.

Such diversity of views is also present in the wider scientific community, as seen in the World Federation of Scientists, an organization formed during the Cold War to encourage dialogue among scientists to prevent nuclear catastrophe. The federation, which encompasses many of the world's most eminent scientists and today represents more than 10,000 scientists, now focuses on 15 "planetary emergencies," among them water, soil, food, medicine and biotechnology, and climatic changes. Within climatic changes, there are eight priorities, one being "Possible human influences on climate and on atmospheric composition and chemistry (e.g. increased greenhouse gases and tropospheric ozone)."

Man-made global warming deserves study, the World Federation of Scientists believes, but so do other serious climatic concerns. So do 14 other planetary emergencies. That seems about right. - Lawrence Solomon is executive director of Urban Renaissance Institute and Consumer Policy Institute, divisions of Energy Probe Research Foundation. Not Serious .. Mr. Bush

Why do we fight in Iraq and Afghanistan to free our nation from terrorist when we won't protect our country from terrorist, narco-terrorist, gang bangers and human smugglers on our borders? Legalize 12 to 20 million or more illegal aliens and you will then get serious and do what's necessary to protect us!

Get real! We've been fighting the War on Terror for 5 Years and we can't keep out some poor schlep with T.B. when the Border Patrol has his photograph. South Texas looks like a war zone and the bad guys continue to rush the border. Mr. Bush's good buddy, D.O.J.'S Johnny Sutton goes after law enforcement officers doing their job because the Mexican Consul complains. We have 11 miles of fence and it's worked in San Diego, the crime rate went down 53%. Now we have a problem in building more until this amnesty bill passes even though you reduce the length.Fences make good neighbors.

The 3 primary duties of the Federal Government is to defend our shores, protect our borders and deliver our mail. We don't need more AIDS programs for Africa, we don't need to legalize law breakers, we need to protect our nation from people that don't like us and want to steal or destroy 230+ years of progress.

Get serious, build the fence , protect the borders and I'll support legal immigration and importing workers for businesses.

Anmesty or Anarchey

 Amnesty or Anarchy

The Border Compromise might as well be every man for himself. It citizenship and borders don't mean anything and laws are to be written to evade laws and common sense, we might as well go to total anarchy for government.

MS-13 and other drug dealers can rule the country.

We have a 200+ year history of defending our nation and we are going to sell out for what. Citizenship is being cheapened for lawn service and to buy votes for Democrats.

Democrats will get the votes because they harbor law breakers, and illegal aliens are law breakers.

Welcome to the 3rd World.

Impeachment by Republicans?

If District Attorney for the Southern District of Texas Johnny Suttons mission was to bring down the presidency of George Bush, he’s doing a great job. He’s been telling some tall tales to the media, talk show hosts and Republican members of Congress trying to cover up the details of the Border Patrol Agents while destroying their reputation.

Yesterday’s bombshell that the Inspector General of I.C.E. has admitted that his people has been actively lying to  Republican members of Congress for months trying to back up Suttons Actions is too much.

There was a time the Bush Administration could have given the Agents a pardon and have a talk with Sutton and the Bush appointed Federal Judge could have ended this mess. That time passed in a Homeland Security Sub-Committee yesterday.

70 Members of Congress now understand what’s going on, and have agreed to sponsor a bill to free the agents.

The logical thing to do is to

  1. Pardon the agents
  2. Fire Sutton
  3. File Charges of Obstruction of Justice on Sutton and his accomplices
  4. Investigate Sutton’s recent cases
  5. Start protecting the Borders

I haven’t seen anything logical about this case yet, including the President attitude.

I believe if the Democrats joined in with the Republicans that are tired of getting lied to by to the Administration they could make a good case to impeach the President. At lease a much better case that Sutton made against the Agents. Of course the Democrats might just roll the weakened President to get what they want now and harm the Republican Party. All I know is there are members of the executive branch lying about this case. Isn’t that a cover-up?

Why Can't We Do Borders?

 Why Can't We Do Borders?

I don’t understand. We seem to have a big problem with Borders. Iraq is having daily if not hourly explosions from IED’s coming across the borders of Syria and Iran. We know they came from Iran because they are much more sophisticated than the old wired artillery shells and contain shaped charges only a government military could acquire. Foreign terrorist seem to have few problems coming into Iraq.

We haven’t been able to stop them. What’s the problem? Not enough troops on the ground? Too few mine fields? Too many lawyers questioning the tactics of our troops? Confusing rules of engagement?

Could it be our leadership doesn’t have the resolve to get serious and win? Are borders important? Why are we pretending to protect them? Are our troops getting the same type of zealot prosecution the 2 Border Patrol Agents received for covering up an incursion into West Texas and shooting a drug smuggler in the rear end?

The President and some Governors sent the National Guard to the borders with orders to do paper work and retreat if they encountered bad guys with guns.

I have never seen any successful organization that told its employees to pretend to do something and we’ll pretend to back you.

Our government has lost control of our borders in Iraq and in the U.S. The government has lost the ability to instill fear needed to stop our enemies from crossing borders and killing Americans. It’s stupid to draw a line in the sand and pretend it means anything if it doesn’t. Narco-terrorist, possible Islamic terrorists and smugglers on our borders with Mexico are as dangerous as Iranian Agents and Islamic Terrorist crossing into Iraq.

I pray the changes made in Iraq will work and the lessons learned will be used on the US Border. Maybe we need to issue entrenching tools to the Border Patrol Agents to bury shell casings and fire some zealot government prosecutors. I’ve seen the war on the border with my on eyes and I know we’ve lost if changes aren’t made, soon.

Maybe we should stop pretending and get serious.

Another Day in Prison, Mr. President!

Jose Compean and Ignacio Ramos trial  ended last March and they can’t even get a transcript of their trial to file an appeal. Sutton and ICE have promised it to a number of U S Congressmen months ago, and still no court records.

Why?

Release the Court Documents or Release Them

$1 TAX PER BEER, COKE for Global Warming

Your soft drink, soda, carbonated beverage, beer or sparkling wine could be a major contributor to man made global warming according to Dr. Ariel Hanklesnit, director of The Institute of the Fallen Trees.

The Doctor has just completed an exhaustive study correlating the increased rise in global temperatures to consumption of carbonated soft drinks and beer throughout the world. Dr. Hanklesnit observations are outlined in his recently completed study “Increased Carbon Dioxide Production and the Spread of Coca-Cold in the 1900’s and its Effects on Global Warming.

Dr. Hanklesnit observations begin when he began looking for CO2 sources in the world’s environment and concluded that the widespread use of carbonated beverages has been growing in relation to higher global temperatures. He concludes that sugars, yeast and manufactured Carbon Dioxide consumed world wide enter the atmosphere directly from the sources but also secondarily from belches and fluctuant produced by the consumers of the beverage products. CO2 from the respiration process is also a major source of green house gases and he is currently working on this problem and waiting funds from a grant from the United Nations.

“I believe we now have the understanding to control the consumption of these harmful products by imposing a CO2 tax on these items”, Dr. Hanklesnit said. The problem is that in order to slow global warming we must impose a $1 per drink tax now to stop major catastrophic events from happening in the near future, he concludes. These taxes could be collected as bottle deposits in many states and be used to fund more studies.

Products affected by the proposed tax would be all carbonated cola and soft drink products, fizzy water products, beers and sparkling wines such as Champaign.

This information is totally fabricated and as believable as the Al Gore Movie and the other global warming hype that is being reported.

Big Oil, New Jews and MS. Hillary

Are the Big Oil Companies the Targets of  Plots to Take Over the Private Property and Profits of Oil Companies of Millions of Investors?

The Third Reich began by vilifying and blaming the Jews for the woes in Germany and Europe. Then they seized their property to finance their attempted takeover of the world. For years, the left has been blaming big oil for the problems in the world. Now begins the big thefts for the good of the masses.

Big profits = Big Target.

Recently, Russia’s Putin steals a LPG plant from Shell, worth about $20 Billion. Hugo Chavez begins the seizure of Conoco-Phillips properties down south worth billions and billions and now Hillary Clinton wants the profits of big oil to put into some smart scheme.

If world governments had been in charge of the exploration, production and processing of hydrocarbons the world price might be as high as $1000 a barrel ($300 a gallon for gas) and the U S would look more like Cuba, than the US we know and love.

They did not find it.

They did not produce it.

They did not process it.

They do not distribute it.

The US and state governments already tax oil at the wellhead, income from corporations and then income from investors.

It seems like Hillary, Putin and Chavez want it all and Clinton does not understand the she would be stealing not only from Big Oil but from millions of investors that paid for the oil and infrastructures used to build the world and economy we enjoy.
